This reagent is the first of three used to test total alkalinity. R-0007 is added to pool water along with R-0008 to produce a color change to green. Then, R-0009 is added to produce a color change to red. The number of required drops is multiplied by 10 to determine the total alkalinity result. This one ounce bottle is enough for more than 300 tests.
